i.d.e.a. Museum classes spark a curosity for learning individually and together. Learn through investigaton and exploration, make through creative expression and problem solving, and play with robotic and coding toys. While we are on intermission, tap into your imagination and experience the museum from home with our hands-on, creative activity kits.
Past classes include:
Messy Creations Art activities related to either the current exhibition theme or holiday. 3-5 stations with projects the kids can do with their parent and take home that are mostly paint activities. *
Artville Academy The i.d.e.a. Museum is devoted to help young children and families prepare for a smooth and successful transition into school. Join us on a learning adventure with an engaging curriculum combining literacy, art, science and math. The 6 week series that occurs on Thursdays will introduce different themes and activities each week to inspire a curiosity for learning and develop the skills children will need for school.
Homeschool Historians Homeschool Historians is a 1.5 hour class for homeschooled children 5-12 years old devoted to teaching kids art history. Monthly homeschool workshop that takes place during school hours and introduces a different famous artist and fine art lesson based off the artist’s work each month.
